Iceland
I took a recent trip to Iceland and captured some of what this unusually stunning place has to offer. Iceland is home to massive glaciers, beautiful icebergs, active volcanoes and 10,000 waterfalls. There is a hugeness to almost everything here, along with a serenity that offers a peaceful contrast. I will return.

Iceberg Cemetary
Iceberg Cemetary - The glacier Breiðamerkurjökull breaks into icebergs that float in a lagoon in southeast Iceland. The icebergs break up and float into the Greenland sea, where they meet the tenacious waves. The remains get forced back onto the black sand beach where they are doomed to melt. All this ice was formed by snow that fell over 1,000 years ago.
