The Lost Aircraft - Over 40 years ago, a US Navy DC3 ran out of fuel, forcing the pilot to crash land on the southern shore of Iceland. No fatalities. The aircraft has stayed at the crash site ever since. Truly in the middle of nowhere with nothing as far as the eye can see except for the Greenland sea and black volcanic sand.
